  • CEO Mr. Sami Memili completed his studies of the latest cleaning technologies in the USA

1992

  • ARCORA® trade company (ARCORA Handels GmbH) founded in Erzgießereistraße, Munich, Germany

1993

  • Introduction of the first cleaning trolleys and cleaning equipment

1994

  • Development of the first brand name products
  • First ARCORA® distributor in Turkey

1995

  • ARCORA has its own stand at an international trade fair
  • Introduction of high-quality coating systems from the USA
  • First ARCORA® distributor in Slovenia
  • Direct import of high-quality cleaning machines (high speed machines) from the USA

1996

  • Second ARCORA® distributor in Turkey
  • Introduction of professional cleaning products for routine cleaning

1997

  • Major relocation to Dachauerstraße 105 in Munich
  • The work is paying off: recognition as Distributor of the Year

1998

  • Third ARCORA® distributor in Turkey

1999

  • The new location sells only ARCORA-produced products or products directly sourced from renowned brand manufacturers

2000

  • Innovative products from another US American cleaning and care product company are added to the product range

2001

  • Targeted acquisition of major customers in the commercial cleaning sector throughout Germany
  • Development of the first franchise dealer in Germany
  • Opening of a central warehouse in Munich to satisfy an enormous increase in demand

2002

  • Transition of the entire organizational structure to a modern IT system
  • Strengthening of customer service with additional sales team members
  • Further investment in the future: ARCORA® produces its own cleaning machines for the first time
  • Conception of a training center in Munich: “train the trainer”

2005

  • Central warehouse moved from Eversbuschstraße to the Schrederwiesen in Munich
  • Founding of ARCORA® International GmbH

2009

  • Acquisition of a factory for the production of microfiber and cleaning accessories in Yalova, Turkey with 8000 m² production facility

2010

  • Relocation of the main warehouse to Marsstraße 9 in Aschheim, near Munich, to meet another large increase in demand

2011

  • Opening of a central warehouse of 3,000 m² in Aschheim near Munich

2013

  • Award at the CMS trade fair in Berlin for most innovative product for ELITE29

2015

  • Acquisition of a 2000 m² factory for cotton mop heads in Usak, Turkey. This allows for monthly production of 100,000 cotton and mixed-fiber mop heads.

2016

  • CEO/PRESIDENT Mr. Sami MEMILI is named Turkey’s “most successful businessman in the cleaning and hygiene sector”
  • National and international expansion of the ARCORA businesses: Globally, around 330 employees work for the ARCORA group producing and selling ARCORA cleaning and hygiene products. There are 1384 products in the ARCORA product range. ARCORA products are sold by ARCORA sales partners in 29 countries.

2017

  • Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (quality managementsystem) and
    DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 ( environmental managementsystem)
  • 25 years anniversary celebration

2018

  • Complete switch to recycled materials in raw materials for the production of cleaning textiles, cleaning systems and accessories, as well as pads.

2019

  • Production and development of the innovation ARCORA PU-PAD
  • Participation as exhibitor in numerous international fairs, active promotion of the ARCORA brand
  • Investments for the extension of the equipment in plant II for the increase of the monthly production to 1.000.000 wiping covers and working ergonomics

2020

  • Establishment of the Foundation for Senegal
  • Company foundation and business expansion in GCC countries with own local team
  • Takeover of a further plant (Plant IV) in Berlin for the production of cleaning and care products
  • Establishment of an international Purchasing Department for the supply of raw materials to the individual plants

2021

  • Publication of a new website: www.arcorafuture.com with 3 company pillars: economic, ecological and social
  • Expansion of an additional logistics warehouse in Parsdorf near Munich for increasing warehouse capacity
  • Certification as a climate-neutral company and climate-neutral products
  • CSR 26001:2021 certification
  • Development and expansion of professional cleaning machines such as ARCORA scrubber-drier machines

2022

  • 1st place of Amsterdam Innovation Award Category Workforce & Ergonomics at INTERCLEAN in Amsterdam with ARCORA PU-PAD LIGHT
  • 30 years anniversary of ARCORA
  • RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) certification
  • Company foundation and business expansion in South Africa with own local team
  • Development of ECOBLACK Technology with recycled materials for the trolley systems
  • Factory construction for cleaning textiles, microfiber cloth production in Europe.
